We begin this tour with your arrival in the national capital of India, Delhi. The city has thousands of years of history and has been ruled by the Aryans, Greeks, Mughals and those of Persian origins. This can be witnessed in the art and architecture of the region. The imperial British style of architecture with a blend of Moghul and Indian styles can be seen in the monumental structures of India Gate and the President’s House.

The city has also managed to modernise itself, keeping its old infrastructure intact. It’s a surreal experience to watch how the city performs its day-to-day basis activities within its chaos.

From Delhi, you will fly to to Bagdogra, which will act as our transit town to Darjeeling. The hill station is said to have been named after the Dorje Ling Monastery.
